The following Code of Ethics is one that I whole-heartedly agree with and follow. It is MY code of ethics, and the assurance to every one of my clients that he or she will be treated with the respect and dignity due any person.

A. Client Welfare: I shall make the physical and mental well-being of each of my clients a top priority.

B. Client Safety: I will not abuse any client, mentally, verbally, physically or sexually.

C. Practice Limits: I will use hypnotism strictly within the limits of my training and competence and in conformity to the laws of California.

D. Referred Practice: I will only engage in hypnotic work with a client regarding a medical or mental disease only upon my acceptance written referral and under the direction from an appropriately licensed medical or mental health professional.

E. Reasonable Practice: I will not offer hypnotic services to any client whose behavior, appearance or statements would lead a reasonable person to believe, without diagnosing, that the client should be evaluated by a licensed health care professional. I will provide services to those clients only after evaluation or diagnosis and approval of the licensed health care professional as provided by California law.
